You are considering a wedding at Château de Méridon and want to prepare the photographs. This guide sets out questions for the venue and your photographer using information published by the château. Confirm included spaces and arrangements in your own venue proposal.
Start with the spaces you have booked
The official website describes options for ceremonies, receptions and accommodation. Its FAQ mentions gardens, the orangery and the ballroom, depending on arrangements and chosen options. Check directly which areas are available for your celebration.

Discuss movement around the ceremony
Ask where guests arrive, how you reach the ceremony and where congratulations take place. Share access and movement instructions with your photographer. A simple plan helps prepare viewpoints without changing the ceremony itself.
If there are alternative configurations, agree who makes the decision and when. Everyone involved should understand the actual backup arrangement.
Keep portraits connected to the celebration
During a visit, ask which portrait locations are accessible. Choose around light on your date, available time and the route back to guests. An attractive backdrop does not require a long absence from drinks.
Agree where groups can gather without blocking service or dinner preparations. A named list lets you choose a space that meets your actual needs.

Include dinner and the evening
Share the rooms chosen for dinner and dancing and any planned contributions. Moving from outside to an indoor space is part of the story. Confirm coverage hours and the moments you want photographed.
Put groups and other planned photographs into the shared programme rather than unexpectedly gathering guests during a course or speech.
