I’m Thao, the photographer behind Trentième Étage. More than 800 weddings over more than 20 years have shaped the way I photograph people, gestures and connections. Based in Paris, I travel for weddings according to your date, venues and the arrangements we agree together.
Paris and Île-de-France
Share your getting-ready, ceremony and reception addresses. A ceremony in Paris followed by a celebration outside the city calls for a realistic travel plan, leaving room for conversations, portraits and time with your guests.
Provence and the South of France
From Avignon and the Luberon to celebrations elsewhere in Provence, the locations and timing shape the coverage. We discuss outdoor spaces, shade, portraits and a weather alternative with your plans in mind.
Wedding photography in Provence
Across mainland France
I also consider weddings in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Normandy, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Centre-Val de Loire. Tell me the exact venues rather than just the nearest city: this helps us understand the journey, coverage and possible overnight stays.

Corsica
Travel to the island and transport between your wedding venues should be considered before confirming the coverage. We discuss arrival, the hours you need photographed and any overnight stays in your proposal.

Geneva
My experience also includes Geneva. If your ceremony and reception are in different places, share both addresses and any cross-border itinerary. Travel arrangements and costs are discussed as part of the proposal.
What should you include in an enquiry?
Your date, known venue addresses, approximate schedule and the moments that matter most. If some decisions are still open, tell me what you already know. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date. The proposal confirms coverage, deliverables and any travel costs.

Victoria & Nils: photographs from Provence
Victoria and Nils celebrated their wedding in Provence. The photographs on this page belong to their story: the couple, the ceremony and the people around them. Their celebration illustrates how I photograph both portraits and shared moments, while each wedding brings its own setting and rhythm.
Another destination: Marrakech
My work also takes me beyond France. Explore a separate selection from Kelly and Raphaël’s wedding in Marrakech.
